When the University of Oregon decided to construct a new arena for their basketball and volleyball programs, they needed a way to get the word out to the Duck community.

Working in conjunction with Downstream, theGOOD was challenged with creating a website that provided up –to-the-minute status updates to a wide range of visitors including alumni, students, faculty and staff, and Duck fans across the nation.

theGOOD developed a customized content management system that allowed University of Oregon staff to update all facets of the site including blog posts, photo galleries and construction timelines and progress. Also included was an “Ask a Question” feature, allowing staff to respond to arena-related questions posted to the site.

he finished site allows fans to see construction progress in real time via an always-on webcam pointed at the building construction. A seat selector allows fans to see what the view would be from any section of the stadium via 360 degree interactive 3D renderings, and then determine how much season or lifetime rights to that seat would cost.
